Hi, Vaithee.

Thank you for your help.  If I understand what you mean correctly,
it seems I have to solve one extra problem before solving my own
problem.  I'm not sure whether this makes the primary problem
easier or not.  Rather, I'm afraid your idea makes the problem
harder and costlier.
