Well, when you call C functions for ObjC you are effectively doing this.
The only cause I have ever had to use ObjC++ was to attach  an Objective
C backend to an existing C++ application (It was mplayer - adding a SoundKit
backend to the generic MP3 decoder).

How else would you suggest doing that ? OObjC++ may be ugly, but it was
certainly a useful thing to be able to do in that instance.
