exactly those, i guess they are nice if you use window maker, but i think with some window managers they can be rather annoying.

Hello there,

Perhaps some preferences to either hide or show tasklists and mini-windows can be incorporated. The tasks will still show up in the Windows sub-menu of the GNUstep root menu, right?
