upgrade woes

From: Marko Riedel

Hi folks,

I upgraded to SuSE 8.1 recently. I had problems linking gnustep-gui (it
would complain about NXConstantString not being defined), so I
re-installed everything. Now I get an error when I try to open
GWorkspace.app or any other app:

: Uncaught exception NSInternalInconsistencyException, reason:
GNUSTEP Internal Error:
The private GNUstep function to establish the argv and environment
variables was not called.
Please report the error to bug-gnustep@gnu.org.

What should I do fix this? This is my set-up:

/usr/local/src/gnustep/gnustep-back-0.8.4
/usr/local/src/gnustep/gnustep-base-1.6.0
/usr/local/src/gnustep/gnustep-examples-0.9.7
/usr/local/src/gnustep/gnustep-gui-0.8.4
/usr/local/src/gnustep/gnustep-make-1.4.0
/usr/local/src/gnustep/gnustep-objc-1.2.2

/usr/local/src/gnustep/gworkspace-0.4.1.tar.gz

Best regards,
