Aha, good point - I guess I am too used to using eXceed, which has a
rootless
mode which works quite well, except for cut-n-paste.  Still, perhaps
GNUStep/cygwin compiled against XFree86/cygwin running on Windoze/eXceed
might
give the original enquirer what he needs...
