I am trying to receive a GPS signal and I am using RTL-SDR2832U, and an antenna with 40dB gain.According to my research, the signal coming from the satellite is at RF, and it gets downconverted in front-end to IF (Intermediate Frequency). Now, I need to remove that IF from the signal coming from the front end by multiplying it with the local generated carrier signal. For this, I want to know the exact value of the IF. But, I am confused that how can I get this? I also tried reading the data sheet of RTL-SDR but couldn't find the helpful information.
