[Discuss-gnuradio] Tag manipulation block

Given the following flow-graph

    Prev Block --> Tag Manipulation Block --> Next Block

Is it possible to have a gnu radio block that only manipulates tags and does not contain a buffer? I.e. no need to copy samples from Prev Block's output buffer to Tag Manipulation Block's output buffer?
