Hi,

students interesting in participating in GSoC 2013, don't forget the
proposal submissions starts today. You may submit proposals up to May
3rd.

A note on contacting mentors: You should have contacted the mentor for
your project by now. If you have not done so, keep in mind that we
mentors are *not* getting paid for this, we are volunteering. If there's
a large number of requests for comments on your proposals in the
following week, we can't guarantee we'll find the time to answer you.

Treat it like you would a job application for a very popular position,
because in a sense, that's what it is.

Good luck to all students applying! We're looking forward to reviewing
your proposals.
