I *think* what you're asking is about the effective RBW of an FFT-based spectral display. There are notes here:

Really, the RBW of an FFT-based spectral display is:   input-bandwidth/FFT-length

That has nothing to do with your hardware or even your software, but rather is just an essential, emergent truth of the way FFTs work.
