"gr-howto-write-a-block" so i suppose i was mixing the two builds....
I have never had boost problems...
This is on Fedora 15 with the master branch.

Yes, seems like a problem with Boost, but it's strange that it doesn't
happen when just building GNU Radio.

Achilleas, when you say you're using the latest trunk, are you talking
about the master or next branch? I'm assuming the next branch since
the master branch's "gr-howto-write-a-block" is autotools only and a
separate "gr-howto-write-a-block-cmake" exists for the cmake build.

Also, what OS?
