Hi all,

I'm trying to send updates when new projects come in to CGRAN to help them gain exposure.

Project:  Gen2 RFID Listener
Publication: Challenge: towards distributed RFID sensing with Software-Defined Radio MobiCom 2010
CGRAN site:  https://www.cgran.org/wiki/Gen2Listener

Description:
Current Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) technology involves two types of physical devices: tags and reader. The reader combines in a single physical device transmission (to the tags) and reception (from the tags) functions. We are working on an alternative approach, where receive functions are performed by a separate device called “RFID Listener”. This allows distributed tag-sensing schemes where one transmitter coexists with multiple listeners.

Note that this project was made possible from Michael Buettner's original contribution of his RFID listener to CGRAN.  Let's keep the contributions coming!  People are really using projects on CGRAN, building new projects from, publishing work from it, and it's great to see this happen due to other people's contributions.
