Hello,
I have a friend who is thinking of making an NMR pulse spectrometer and he wants to know if he would be able to use GNU Radio and USRP1/2 to do this. He would be sending in RF pulses at the resonant frquency. The minimum pulse width would need to be approximately 500 ns and the minimum separation between pulses would need to be around 5 us. From this post:
it seems like this will be doable with the USRP1. I have never tried sending pulses from the USRP but I assume he would just use a vector source. If any of this seems out of place or raises any flags with anyone, please let me know.
Just wanted to double check this stuff before telling him that the USRP and GNU Radio could indeed do it.
