Being new to DSP I am just plowing my way through wiki pages "Suggested
Reading" ;)

The link to "comp.dsp FAQ"
http://www.guerrilla.net/reference/dsp/dsp_faq/dsp_faq.htm is not
working.  I think I found the referenced content at
http://www.bdti.com/faq/ but cannot be sure as I never saw the
previous...

The following I have found to be remarkably clear for a novice, so I
suggest it be considered for the DSP readings links.
