(1) iso wasn't well supported by GNU/Linux when we started. (I'm not
sure of the current status.)
(2) With bulk we get error correction across the USB.
(3) Net throughput is about the same for the two cases.
(4) Bulk seems to be working fine, so we haven't revisited the
original decision.
