That is all the FUN!

Actually, I am very stable on using SUSE now and I have 9.3. They put "pre release gcc 3.3.3" as the compiler. My linux running around days are much more limited since I gave up on Gentoo, etc. I need stability now so I can do all these tasks in a stable environment.

Okay, I have finally resolved this but it was a real pain.

I had downloaded clean copies and made gcc-3.4.4 and installed it and I still had test problems.

As a last resort, now with gcc-3.4.4 in charge, I remade all tools, python, wxPython, sdcc, swig, etc. etc.

FINALLY, it compiles and checks from beginning to end.

BTW, what distribution were you using?
(I know that you change every 2 weeks!)
