THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY COUNCIL AND THE CONSUMER ELECTRONICS
ASSOCIATION TO SPONSOR PUBLIC FORUM ON SPECTRUM MANAGEMENT
Washington, D.C., February 27, 2004 - The Information Technology
Industry Council (ITI)and the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)
today announced they will convene a forum with the private sector on how
to better manage the nation's airwaves in a way that supports the
deployment of next-generation technologies for businesses and consumers.
The event will be held at Intel Corporation's campus in Santa Clara,
California on March 8, 2004 and will feature Acting Assistant Secretary
of Commerce Michael D. Gallagher.
