Hello all, (hey Murat!)

Reading the news groups, I found out that some of you had questions
regarding the SCA Reference Implementation (SCARI) project! I realize
I'm a couple months late but here are some answers.

+ CRC's proposal has been accepted by the international forum called
SDRF (www.sdrforum.org) in December 2001.

+ The SCARI project's goal is to create an open source reference implementation
of a SDR standard called SCA (see the forum's web page). It is composed of
four tasks two of which have been accomplished.

+ This proposal has been accepted by all members of the SDRF
including official JTRS Project Office members (the inventors of the SCA), OMG
members,
Sun microsystems, etc.

+ For more information, visit our web site at http://www.crc.ca/scari . For the
moment,
access to the web page is restricted because the translation (we have two
official languages
in Canada) hasn't been completed yet. Until then, the SCARI web page can't go
public and
a user/password is needed. However, since it is just a question of
days....here's the user/pwd:
User: crc
Password: scari

+ For the moment, I haven't looked at your source code. I just found out. As
soon as I get
a chance, I will and I'll let you know how difficult it will be to make your SDR
SCA like/compliant.

Steve.
