I downloaded the installer for windows yesterday, I wanted to see if the
syntax highlighting of the LilyPond window was working on Windows.

The About menu item gives 2.2.1 as the version. Browse Manual brings up
the manual with Updates for version 2.1 on the first page (it hasn't
been updated yet, it should read 2.3).
The zip file however looks like it is still being built from the 2.2
release branch - the dates on the files are these:
[ ]
denemo-mingw-0.0.0.zip
2017-07-24
00:56
72M
[ ]
denemo-0.0.0-0.mingw.exe

[ ]
denemo-mingw-2.2.zip
2017-08-22

______________
which means
denemo-mingw-0.0.0.zip
hasn't been rebuilt since 24th July and so should have version 2.1.5
(which is what you saw I guess?).
Jeremiah, can you switch the zip builds to master?

I saw a very slow unpacking on a Windows machine, which I think was
because the unpacking was reading and writing to USB - you have moved
the zip file onto a fast disk first have you?
I think you can get free unzip programs for windows, which may give
better performance - it doesn't take anything like that time on
GNU/Linux with a free (non-proprietary) unzip program.
