Update of bug #50821 (project denemo):
Status: None => Need Info
_______________________________________________________
Follow-up Comment #1:
This is something that bugs me too.
If I have Denemo running no other applications get access to the audio - VLC
won't start playing a movie for example.
If something is using the audio. Denemo starts without any audio output
available.
I have ALSA handling the output, not pulseaudio, IIUC.
I've tried to find a reference to this hogging of the output device in the
PortAudio documentation (PortAudio is the backend that is used) but found
nothing. Any help appreciated.
