I'm guessing you didn't get a list of instrument names, and changed just
the MIDI program value? Did you leave the MIDI Channel at 1 ?

Is that the d-Play command?

Was that playing from the start (which is d-Performance IIRC) or
clicking on a note? Did it make you wait while it re-typeset for
Playback View? If not, that would be a bug.
