Details:

Being able to preview lilypond output of a selected portion is a very handy
feature to have when making corrections to or tweaking long scores, since
lilyponding can take quite a long time to do this. Right now in Denemo, I see
a command to export to PDF which works, but gives no option to only export a
portion or selection. Print excerpt seems to do be designed to do this but in
fact simply generates a pdf of the selection (but in windows I get an error
message saying the externals for pdf viewer should be checked, despite that
the pdf viewer works fine for other commands that invoke the viewer).

I believe there should be a clearly labelled and functioning command for
generating a preview of a selection or selected number of measures. It would
make using lilypond & denemo a whole lot more feasible for things like
orchestral works which take up lots of pages and lots of time to compile.
