[Denemo-devel] Building Denemo 0.8.10 from gub, afresh

I upgraded Lenny, but found the new kernel would not boot. I have
reverted to the old kernel, but as the compiler etc are new I thought I
would try the Denemo 0.8.10 gub build to see if the compiler flakiness
was gone.

after rm -rf target/
and
make denemo
the build failed with this

 Command barfed: cd /home/rshann/gub/target/tools/build/perl-5.10.0 &&
make -j2

where the relevant bit of the log seems to be this:

I don't know if having an earlier kernel and later tools could be
responsible...
