Continuing the gub build of denemo saga. I changed denemo.py to refer to
branch stable-0.8.10 instead of master, removed gub/target and tried
again. It much further than on earlier attempts, stopping at 
 cd /home/rshann/gub/target/tools/build/freetype-2.1.10 && make -j2
however, simply repeating this command worked, so I started up again
with
python bin/gub --force-package --platform=mingw denemo
hoping that this will take up from where the previous run left off.
Interestingly, the first package it has built is freetype, and it has
succeeded this time.
It would seem there is something perturbing the compiler runs...
It would help enormously if I could avoid re-building everything...
