Update: seems like the problem only happened on _my_ debian unstable
install, while on the others Jeremiah's fix (git autogen.sh and
configure.in) worked; so I was able to use it in building a new debian
package, now available in the repositories:
http://packages.debian.org/unstable/sound/denemo

Notice it is not, as it is, installable in Ubuntu Jaunty or Karmic,
because of unfortunate dependency version choices (it depends on a very
recent libjack, probably with no reason) I made (or, better, forgot to
not make). I should find the time to produce a less exigent version.
