Details:
Auto-Tie would calculate the amount of time left in the current measure. If a
note entry occurs and if the note_duration > leftover. A note is added to
current measure that is (note_duration - leftover) in length. It is tied to
the following note of length (note_duration - (note_duration - leftover)) in
Next_Measure.
This feature can be turned off or on in the preferences. This would aid in
cleaning up the importmidi.c code and provide a way to facilitate script that
do things like augmentation/diminution. It also would ease rhythmic entry if
the note duration did not neatly fit in the measure.
