This is ok-ish. Denemo is outputting LilyPond which is ok for version
2.8.7 so it builds in the \version "2.8.7" into the output - it does not
do anything to try and find out what version you have, or even if you
have one :-(.  As it happens the syntax it uses is, in fact, good for
more recent versions of LilyPond as well - the bits of syntax that
Denemo uses haven't changed. 

On Linux it runs convert-ly which would guard against future versions of
LilyPond changing something. It doesn't do this on windows because
windows does file locking, so someone would need to work out how to tell
windows that the output file is free to be convert-lyed.
But, as I say, it doesn't matter at the moment.

I think you can still tell Denemo to output a different version number
under edit->score properties->paper setup->lilypond version, but I don't
think this option makes sense. Denemo only speaks one LilyPond dialect.

The Denemo installation does not touch the registry, it just copies
files to the installation directory.
