Hello,
I'm starting to receive bug reports. In order to identify correctly
version numbers, you have two cases:
* either you build from tarball (.tar.gz) or use precompiled packages,
in that case please report version number printed at server start in
a console or in client Help>About dialog box, e.g.:
DemExp Server (version:0.3.1 -- U2: Unscalable & Unsecure)
Demexp: a client for the democratic experience server.
Version: 0.3.1
This version number will be bumped up each time I do a
"release". This is not perfect but better than nothing (I am open to
better scheme);
* or either you are building directly from Arch, then please report
exact patch level and arch branch, e.g. demexp--cduce--0.3--patch-15.
You can get it with: "tla logs --full|tail -1".
Many thanks. It will help me identify the proper version.
Yours,
d.
