I'm inclined to continue the policy described in HACKING:

So, until someone is running nightly tests on one of those systems, or
at least sending us patches and testing what we reissue, let's leave
them alone.  Changing the sources there willy-nilly without testing
would probably only confuse potential hackers as the untested errors
will almost certainly compound over time.

Incidentally, I think emx and os2 have been broken for some time.
Paul Edwards started corresponding with us about fixing emx in 2003 but
got frustrated, I think, while trying to integrate his design philosophy
