Hey all,
A few quick comments based on things that came up in these emails:
1. I don't see any reason to restrict tags to anything that can be
stored as an RCS symbol, though I do think / will still screw up an
Entry field in the client/server protocol. Fixing this will require
coordination with CVSNT.
2. Expanding the list of allowed tag symbols will almost certainly
cause problems with CVSNT clients, but only because the client is trying
to do the tag validation and shouldn't be. It should be an easy fix to
push that off on the server, once they notice.
Regards,
Derek
