This mail is an automated notification from the patch tracker of the project: classpath-tools. /**************************************************************************/ [patch #2334] Full Item Snapshot: URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/patch/?func=detailitem&item_id=2334> Project: classpath-tools Submitted by: Arnaud Vandyck On: sam 22.11.2003 à 14:41 Category: None Priority: 5 - Normal Resolution: None Assigned to: None Originator Email: Status: Open Summary: property field not initializes in SerialFieldTagImpl Original Submission: Looks like this is necessary to add to the file since otherwise the field+= <somechar> gives strange results like "null<somechar>". But discussion this with Arnaud on irc also revealed a bug in kjc/kaffe for concatenating null strings. See http://www.kaffe.org/pipermail/kaffe/2003-November/044458.html Arnaud could you try compiling with jikes and report the results? Follow-up Comments ------------------ ------------------------------------------------------- Date: dim 23.11.2003 à 01:38 By: avdyk The three patches I submitted has been compiled with kjc (two or three times) AND with jikes (the rest of the time! ;)) without any problem.
