I would have investigated further but have no access
to a FreeBSD 6.x system, and these tests both pass on the
FreeBSD 8.2 system to which I do have access.

For the first one, my guess is that there's a bug in their strtold
that affects only very-small-magnitude numbers like +/- 3.362103e-4932

For the latter, maybe a bug in their lutimes function...

Overall, given the age of 6.x, and that 8.2 is already 6 months old,
I'm inclined not to worry about these.
