and nothing about the 78 column boundary. I personally have nothing
against leaving
the mentioned operators on the same line, but then we need to update the
hackers guide.
The mentioned sentence is at least unclear, probably even misleading. I
interpreted all this as if
Eclipse does not format as required and simply did not like dropping the
operators to
the new line manually each time I format.
I have read the Aarons message several time but was unable to figure out
that is the use of
handling this simple plain XML file, editor settings, in so terribly
complicated way that is
additionally obfuscated by known and hypothetical Eclipse bugs.
