[Chicken-users] Using 4.8.0 on OSX 10.5

Hi,

I tried installing 4.8 on my machine with 10.5 and it fails. Specifically while
everything compiles fine I get bus errors when trying to start csi. 

$ ./csi
zsh: bus error  ./csi

I tried installing it with homebrew as well as manually and both produce the
same results. Homebrew installs with:

PREFIX=/usr/local/Cellar/chicken/4.8.0
PLATFORM=macosx
C_COMPILER=/usr/bin/gcc-4.2

When I tried manually I set

PLATFORM=macosx

I'd be happy to debug but I don't know where to start.
