Hello Felix,

first thanks for your tremendous effort in finding and eleminating the bug.
But the problem seems not to be gone here. With the latest darcs version of
chicken which introdcues itself as chicken-2.319, the program fails with an
assertion in runtime.c line 3278 which seems to be the source of the bug if
I got your debugging story right.
Or is there soething else I'm missing?

P.S.:
I could not see the posting from Ken neither via gmane nor via the web
interface of the mailing list so I have no access to his sample program.
