 That's a linux system, I assume? What installation prefix did you use?
 What is the output of `ls -l <PREFIX>/lib/libchicken*`? Do normal compiled
 programs work? What exact chicken version did you use?

 (you can also run `chicken-bug` and attach the generated report)
