        I suggest that `makeinfo' invocation in Makefile be prefixed by
        ``-'' (ignore errors), since `makeinfo' isn't strictly necessary
        and may be out of user's PATH, too.  (Typical situation on
        GNU/Linux systems, IIUC.)
