The accelerators for the various menu functions have all been changed to
conform with WinBoard; the old default key bindings were unacceptable
anyway, because they were mostly printible characters, which should be
reserved for typing moves and ICS commands.

The new accelerators therefore are all Ctrl or Alt combinations, or
Function keys. They are listed in the menus.

As we are aiming to abandon Xaw, XBoard has already ceased to be a true
X-application; it now has its private configuration file, and does ignore
the .xresources file.

In the near future XBoard will be available only as a GTK application, and
I assume GTK has its own mechanism for user configuring of menu
accelerators. So I had not really planned to provide an XBoard-specific
mechanism for this. I have grave doubts on the wisdom of altering
shortcuts anyway. Is there any particular reason why you are not happy
with the current assignment (which, IIRC, for ResignProc is F9)?
