Hi,
I am having an issue with the 'sort' command that came with linux 7.0.
I'm trying to sort two files with the same information in each file, and I get some interesting results. The outcome is shown below after using the sort command to sort both files.
file a
www.clip4win.com
www.clip-4-win.com
www.clip-4-win.com
www.clip4win.com
file b
www.clip4win.com
www.clip4win.com
www.clip-4-win.com
www.clip-4-win.com
Is it supposed to sort files in this manner, or is this a bug? Or is there a switch I have to issue to the command to have it give me the results I want? (I need them to be exactly alike.) I tried the -d and -i swithches with no luck....
thanks..
-Victor
