texi2dvi fails when compiling gettext

Hi there, 

we found out a bug when compiling gettext: if built with documentation,
texi2dvi fails at some point and thus the gettext compiling fails as
well.
For now we just decided to build gettext without documentation but we
hope you'll have a clue about what's going on here and you'll be able to
fix it.
gettext version is 0.14.5 and texinfo is 4.8.
