Hi Karl and others,
I'm having trouble getting ISO-8859-1 characters to work. Here's what
I write:
\input texinfo @c -*- mode: texinfo; coding: iso-8859-1; -*-
...
@documentencoding ISO-8859-1
...
jas@@latte:~$ idn --quiet räksmörgås blåbærgrød
...
INFO, HTML, and DocBook PS/PDF/HTML work fine, but the normal
DVI/PS/PDF output does not contain any ISO-8859-1 characters. They
are simply removed. I hope it is easy to reproduce (cut'n'paste
characters above from this message for example), but I can submit a
complete test case if you want.
I'm using texinfo CVS 2003-11-16, but I tried CVS HEAD for
INFO/DVI/PS/PDF too with same results.
Thanks,
Simon
