Follow-up Comment #2, bug #23671 (project sourceinstall):

I gave a quick try to your cvs snapshot: both the uninstall and update
package commands now work as expected.

I'm going to use sourceinstall-gtk quite extensively next week, so I'll keep
you up to date in case I'll experience some other problems.
