Greetings,
I believe I have found a bug in the version of GNU 'date'
distributed with RedHat 7.1.
=== Version return: ===
date (GNU sh-utils) 2.0
Written by David MacKenzie.
Here's the issue:
This command:
address@hidden canned]$ date -d '6-2-2001 12:46:34 -500'
Returns this unwanted result:
Mon Jul 25 13:46:34 EDT 2011
I verified the issue on a box running Mandrake 8.0:
=== Version return: ===
date (GNU sh-utils) 2.0
Written by David MacKenzie.
(datavortex) (28/pts) (16:51:06/19/01) ($:~)- date -d '6-2-2001 12:46:34 -500'
Mon Jul 25 13:46:34 EDT 2011
Thanks for your attention.
