Details:

When using the "e" key-binding for editing a field that has been typed with
enum, the enum values are listed for choosing when the %type for the field is
in the same file. That's wonderful.

However, when the %type is in an external file (e.g. %rec RecordKind
file-of-red-types.rec), then the enum values are not listed. Instead, its
treated like any other field for editing.

I noticed this when I separated the %rec descriptions into a new file. I used
a relative path name in the %rec for the file with the data. This works fine
for recfix, both in rec-mode and on the command line. But it affects the
listing of enum values when using the "e" key-binding in rec-mode by not
listing the enum values for choosing.

I haven't looked into a fix for this yet.
