Ctrl+[left or right arrow] freezes gprolog

Ctrl+[left or right arrow] freezes gprolog |

Dear community,
Using Ctrl+[left or right arrow] combination with the aim of jumping to resp. previous or next word freezes gprolog's prompt.
It is then neither possible to input any key, nor Ctrl+C/D key combination.
