Hi, This email is a followup to the thread posted here: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-parted/2010-10/msg00010.htmlI didn't see any resolution and noticed that the latest parted release suffers from the same bug. The original poster was correct in that Solaris will product a GPT partition table with 9 entries (this is mainly done by zfs when a "whole disk" is specified as part of zfs storage pool, and is very easy to duplicate, even in a [VirtualBox, VMWare] VM). The original poster's patch also fixes the issue -- can I request that the patch be applied so that future parted releases can properly process these GPT labels?
Thanks, --S
