GNU parted 1.9.0: tests/test-suite.log

Dear all,
I just try to build gnu parted 1.9.0 on Ubunu 9.10 (2.6.31.17). The
'make check ' wrote the that the test filed. See the attach.
I am the very beginner with Linux so I am not able to see if it is my
misstake or where the problem is.
