Hi Hans,GParted is a separate project that uses libparted for many of it's partition editing functionality.
To help diagnose the problem, would you please provide the output from the following commands:
fdisk -l -u parted /path-to-your-disk-device unit s printIf the parted command fails to recognize the partitions as UFS, then we might be looking at a bug in parted. Otherwise the problem likely exists in GParted.

Hi list, I'm using GParted 0.4.1 on a disk with a.o. two UFS FreeBSD partitions. Limited UFS support (move, copy) is claimed in GParted's file system support table, but GParted lists the UFS partition as unformatted/no file system found.
