Thank you for the report.
If it's not too late, would you please also copy the
first few sectors worth of data from that disk

  dd if=/dev/WHATEVER count=4 of=/tmp/gpt-v10000

and then mail /tmp/gpt-v10000 to this list as an attachment?

Then, maybe someone here will find time to investigate.
