Here you are trying to create a primary partition on your MS-DOS
partition table.  However, MS-DOS partition tables can only have up to
four primary partitions, so Parted cannot accept this input (it should
definitely say why, though. I'm adding this to my agenda).
After that you choose the default and get the aforementioned problem
againL you cannot have a logical partitions outside of an extended
partition, and you can have only one extended partition.
