I am not an expert.
I got the mesage "You found a bug in GNU Parted.... Please report at 
parted.alioth.debian.org/bugs"

. The version is 1.6.25.1
. I compilled parted with the option --enable-all-static
. I try to resize an extended partition with:
       resize 2 62605306
